The 15th Latin American Festival Cheque Presentation Ceremony

Spreading the Spirit of Joy and Cheer from our 15th Latin American Festival

Following the roving success of our 15th Latin American Festival held on Sunday, 6 October 2024 at bbpark, Bukit Bintang, a total of RM50,154.21 was raised. This fund has now been donated to two organizations at a cheque presentation ceremony held at bbpark on Tuesday, 10 December 2024 as follows:

• RM10,000 to IDEAS Autism Centre for Equipment for their therapy project; and
• RM40,154.21 to the Malaysia Foundation for the Blind (Yayasan Orang Buta Malaysia) for their Braille machines project.

The funds were raised during the recent 15th Latin American Festival organized jointly by the Embassies of the Group of Latin American and Caribbean in Malaysia (GRULAC) in collaboration with Plaza Low Yat and Federal Hotels International together with the Latin Women’s Association of Malaysia.
