Terms & Conditions
1. Gracious Rewards is a complimentary and unique guest recognition program that offers members a single tier with points which allows members to enjoy a seamless booking experience, exclusive benefits and instant redemption as soon as they join. The acceptance is at the discretion of Federal Hotels International (FHI) Group of Hotels.
2. Only individuals aged 18 and above are eligible to sign up for the Gracious Rewards program and become Gracious Rewards members (defined as individuals who have been accepted as Gracious Rewards members by FHI Group of Hotels and who have agreed to the Gracious Rewards program terms and conditions). Corporations, associations or groups are not eligible for Gracious Rewards membership.
3. To participate in the Gracious Rewards program, members must sign up online at fhihotels/graciousrewards. Upon successful signing up, the member will receive a verification email with instructions to activate the account. A membership number will be issued upon enrolment.
4. Gracious Rewards membership is non-transferrable and may only be used by the member.
5. The participating hotel will make its best efforts to deliver exclusive benefits to the Gracious Rewards members. However, not all benefits can be provided at all participating hotels. The participating hotel shall not be liable for refunds or for consequential damages resulting from failure to deliver such benefits. Gracious Rewards membership and all related benefits are offered at the sole discretion of the participating hotel.
6. The participating hotel reserves the right, from time to time, to restrict, suspend or otherwise amend/change aspects of the Gracious Rewards program and/or these terms & conditions, with or without prior notice to the Gracious Rewards members, which changes may affect the value of Gracious Rewards points.
7. The participating hotel may without notice, discontinue Gracious Rewards membership if a member fails to promptly pay hotel bills or appears to be utilizing the program in a manner inconsistent with these terms and conditions or the intent of the program, including, but not limited to, Gracious Rewards point redemption and rewards use.
8. The participating hotel reserves the right to modify the program structure, benefits and other features, including these terms and conditions, or to terminate the Gracious Rewards program at any time, with or without notice. Although the participating hotel will use reasonable effort to notify members of material changes to the Gracious Rewards program and/to these terms and conditions, it is the responsibility of members to keep themselves up-to-date in respect of the Gracious Rewards and these terms and conditions. Any use of Gracious Rewards by a member will be deemed as acceptance of any amendments(s). The participating hotel and/or partners will not be liable for any loss of value or benefits or damages that may arise as a result of any termination or from any amendment(s) made to the Gracious Rewards program or/to these terms and conditions.
9. Members will have twelve months from the date of announcement of the termination of the Gracious Rewards program to accumulate and redeem the desired rewards in the Gracious Rewards program. This means that, regardless of the value you participate in the Gracious Rewards program, your right to accumulate points and redeem rewards will be terminated twelve months after the announcement of the program termination by the participating hotel. Gracious Rewards points for all members not presented for redemption on or before such redemption end date will not be honored and cannot be redeemed for rewards, and will be forfeited without any obligation or liability twelve months after the date of announcement of the Gracious Rewards program termination.
10. Federal Hotels International (FHI) and FHI Group of participating Hotels may at its sole discretion, choose to amend or substitute the loyalty programme for the Gracious Rewards programme in whole or in part at any time in view of any applicable law in the relevant jurisdiction.
11. If the English version of these terms and conditions or any Gracious Rewards collateral materials are available in other languages, the English version shall prevail if any discrepancy arises. In case of dispute over the interpretation of these terms and conditions, the participating hotel's decision is final.
12. FHI Group of Hotels reserves the right to amend the list of participating hotels and outlets at any time without prior notice.
1. Gracious Rewards points will be earned based on Eligible and Qualifying Rates that are publicly available at fhihotels.com and gracehotel.com.au. Eligibleand Qualifying Incidental Charges are as per packages on our website, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages that are chargeable to the room.
An "Eligible and Qualifying Rate" is defined as any room rate offered at a participating hotel within the FHI Group of Hotels, including; best available rate, best rate, negotiated corporate contracted rates, direct booking long stay rates, rates available on fhihotels.com and gracehotel.com.au.
"Ineligible and Non-Qualifying Rates" are as follows:
Complimentary nights, online travel agents (Expedia.com, Booking.com, Agoda.com, Wotif.com, Trip.com, Priceline.com)
Google.com and TripAdvisor.com
Home-sharing and Mobile travel platforms, and any other online travel agents/retailers, traditional wholesale, airline crew/employees, hospitality and travel industry employees, travel agency consortia and media.
Group/Meetings Incentives Conventions & Exhibitions settled through a Master Bill.
In the event a reservation is made through the company or corporate travel agent managing negotiated corporate contracted rate, the member is solely responsible for verifying whether the rate qualifies as an Eligible and Qualifying Rate. The member is also responsible for providing the company, travel agent or third party with their exact Gracious Rewards details, including name and email address as provided during Gracious Rewards membership registration. The company or travel agent must provide the member’s booking and correct membership details to the participating hotel before Gracious Rewards points are approved and duly credited to the respective member’s account. At the time of booking, the member’s name and email address must be provided for the system to access the member’s booking platform.
2. Federal Hotels International (FHI) and FHI Group of participating Hotels may at its sole discretion, choose to amend or substitute any Eligible and Qualifying Rates for the Gracious Rewards programme in whole or in part at any time in view of any applicable law in the relevant jurisdiction.
3. Ineligible and Non-Qualifying Incidental Charges are room service, breakfast, gratuities, parking, laundry, dry cleaning, pressing, phone calls, and in-room internet access.
4. Gracious Rewards members can check their available Gracious Rewards points balance at any time by logging into their accounts at fhihotels/graciousrewards.
5. If at the time a confirmed reservation is cancelled, the earned Gracious Rewards points will be revoked.
6. Gracious Rewards points are not redeemable for cash.
7. Gracious Rewards points are valid up to a maximum of 2 years or 24 months starting from the date of issue.
1. The required amount of Gracious Rewards points redemption is defined in the My Catalog at fhihotels/graciousrewards.
2. The number of Gracious Rewards points required for redemption as set out at fhihotels/graciousrewards is subject to change at any time without prior notice to Gracious Rewards members. The participating hotel further reserves the right to delete, remove or substitute all of the Gracious Rewards collaterals and website at any time.
3. Gracious Rewards points may not be used to exchange for cash.
4. Gracious Rewards points redemption cannot be used to settle charges for your room booking made via a third party i.e from third-party online travel agents/portals, wholesale agent rates/travel agents, rates tours or pre-packaged deals through travel agents, airline programs, airline crew, other Airline/Hotel Loyalty club programs, Group/Meetings Incentives Conventions & Exhibitions settled through a Master Bill.
5. All Gracious Rewards points redeemed must be earned by the same member under the same account. Pooling of Gracious Rewards Points is not permitted.
6. Cancellation and Return of Redemption Points If members wish to cancel their redemption points and request a return, they would need to reach out to the hotel Reservation Team.
Points can be returned in the following cases:
Cancellation of a booking before the stay date for flexible rates. Standard cancellation policies apply for your specific booking. Listed on your booking confirmation.
Points will not be returned if:
The rate is non-changeable and non-refundable.
The booking cancellation does not occur in your stipulated cancellation timeframe.
Points have expired before cancellation.
There is a no-show for the booking.
Members must contact the Reservations team to request a cancellation. The cancelled points will keep their original expiry date and will be stored in a separate database, so they will not be visible on the Guest Portal. To allocate these points towards the next booking, members must contact the Reservations team to request an allocation.
1. At any time, Gracious Rewards member may decide to cancel their participation in the Gracious Rewards program by sending an email message graciousrewards@gracehotel.com.au or graciousrewards@fhi.com.my stating their desire to cancel their Gracious Rewards membership.
2. Cancellation of the membership implies complete and total withdrawal from the Gracious Rewards program, thus permanently ending the existing relationship between Gracious Rewards and Gracious Rewards members. FHI Group of Hotels may also terminate any membership at its complete discretion, all unused points, benefits will be cancelled
All personal data provided by Gracious Rewards members for the administration of the Gracious Rewards program will be protected in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and as laid out in our Privacy Policy at our website at www.fhihotels.com. Members to also take note of among others, the following :-
1. Gracious Rewards members are required to create their confidential password when activating their online accounts. Gracious Rewards members must ensure that their passwords are not disclosed to any other parties to prevent any unauthorized use of their passwords or unauthorized redemption of Gracious Rewards points. Federal Hotels International Group of Hotels shall not be liable for any such unlawful use of Gracious Rewards members’ passwords by any third party.
2. In order to credit Gracious Rewards members with Gracious Rewards points earned through participation in the Gracious Rewards program, the personal data of Gracious Rewards members has to be shared with Federal Hotels International Group of Hotels.
3. Gracious Rewards members may review and update their personal data by accessing their membership profiles on the Gracious Rewards online account.
