Hotel Capitol Kuala Lumpur joined its sister hotel and Suite namely The Federal Kuala Lumpur and Tribeca Serviced Suites Bukit Bintang hosted the Federal Hotels International (FHI) Group of Hotels’ Appreciation Night at The Verandah Lobby Lounge of The Federal Kuala Lumpur on 12 December 2019.  The event brought more than 100 clients together, including Corporate, Travel Agents, Media, Airlines and business partners. 

Ms Ooi Lee Ping, Director, Group Marketing, Sales & Business Development and Operations of Federal Hotels International said “Thank you all for joining us this evening, to celebrate another milestone for our FHI Hotels and Suite in Kuala Lumpur and in Sydney.  It has been a fabulous sixty two years for Federal Hotel, an awesome twenty two years for Hotel Capitol, a fantastic two years for Tribeca Serviced Suites Bukit Bintang and an amazing twenty two years for The Grace Hotel Sydney.  As we celebrate together, it is a tribute to all of you our partners and friends working together with our Management Team & Staff, the people behind our success, and we look forward to our continued growth together with them in coming years.  A salute to all of you too for your continuous friendship, partnership and support working together with us to put The Federal, The Capitol, Tribeca and The Grace where we are today and our heartfelt thanks to our millions of loyal guests over the years. Our Management Team & Staff at Federal Hotels International (FHI) and the respective FHI Hotels, the people behind our success, a salute to everyone, our valued supporters and customers for their tremendous continuous support and worked with us to put our FHI Hotels where we are today as well as our heartfelt thanks to our thousands of guests.  While we improve with the times, we are always mindful in keeping the ‘character and soul’ of our FHI Hotels.  This will solidify our Brand’s positioning in not only providing an impeccable modern-styled living in unparalleled comfort, but also in offering a premier hospitality experience for all.  We believe that our tradition of warm friendly Malaysian Hospitality and care delivered by our dedicated Team will be well received by our Hotel’s guests and community as every little thing we do at our FHI Group of Hotels inspires us to create a rewarding experience for our Hotel guests, our Team members and our Communities.  Christmas is a wonderful time of the year, time to get together to share precious moments, with twinkling lights, trees adorned with decorations, comes gift galore, bonding time and the Christmas feasts, and we hope all of you will enjoy some of the mouth-watering festive dishes and desserts which our Team of Chefs have put together for all of us this evening.  Our Team of Chefs have prepared a sumptuous menu for our guests to savour”. 

“The menu starts off with cocktail & canape comprising Canape Quail Eggs with Mayo Capelin Fish Roe (Orange Ebiko) on toast; Canape Tuna mayo on toast; Canape smoked duck on toast; canape smoked salmon with dill sauce; canape prawn on vegetables crackers; canape turkey ham with olive; vegan canape tomato salsa on toast, vegan canape mango salsa on Japanese cucumber, salad Nicoise, mixed green lettuce, vegan mixed bean salad, vegan waldorf salad, vegan avocado salad; vegan barley salad; cream of wild mushroom soup; roasted turkey with cranberry and giblet sauce; vegetarian lasagne with spinach, mushroom soup; roasted lamb racks with rosemary jus & apple mint sauce; roasted turkey with cranberry and giblet sauce (served with chestnut stuffing with chicken minced & mushroom stuffing with chicken minced); vegan spaghetti aglio e oil with capsicum, mushroom & fresh herbs; baked salmon cube with honey glaze mustard creamy sauce; Hainanese chicken chop with green peas & onion sauce; baked potato skin stuffing with turkey ham & cheese; Hainanese oxtail stew with shallot, carrot & served with garlic bread; vegan butter milk vegetables; vegan baked pumpkin wedges with butter herbs; grilled mixed chicken sausage with sautéed Holland onion, roasted capsicum & served with bbq sauce.  Round up your meal with equally delectable decadent treats such as Christmas Pudding with Crème Anglaise, Mince pie, yule log, ginger bread, Christmas fruit cake, Christmas stolen, dark and white chocolate mousse, walnut pie, assorted Christmas cookies, lamington cake, sticky toffee pudding; traditional English bread pudding with raisin & served with vanilla sauce; ginger bread cake; caramel mousse cake; chocolate fountain (served with strawberry, grape & marshmallows in stick); choice of ice cream, coffee & tea”.
