“We would like to invite tourists, shoppers, guests to join us Pedal for the Planet activity at the front entrance of the hotel. In line with our pledge of practising the 5RS, our team has converted the recycled bottles into decorative lamps surrounded the globe. The globe is made of bamboo and recycled papers. By pedaling the 56 years old Merdeka trishaw and bicycle powered by the three small hubs dynamo from the bike’s wheel, the Globe’s lights will be turn on. Guests are invited to write their pledge on the board provided. This exercise serves to remind everyone that they can do their part too to care for the earth for a sustainable living environment. To reward for embracing the spirit of I Will, If you Will, guests will only have to pay 50% off the price of our Earth Hour International Buffet Dinner at The Verandah, Level 1 on 23 March 2013. Come and experience this candlelight buffet dinner, join us in our Earth Hour activity and fight the climate change” said Mr Simon Leong, General Manager of The Federal Kuala Lumpur.
