Membership Eligibility

  1. Echelon Club Membership is FREE. Echelon Club Membership is by invitation only and is open to all Secretaries, Personal Assistants and Administrators from Corporate Market Segment in Malaysia & Singapore only. The acceptance is at the discretion of Federal Hotels International (FHI).
     
  2. All Prospective Members must obtain approval from their respective Employer/Company to join Echelon Club. Alternatively, should a Company disallow its individual Employee to participate in the program, Employer/Company may join Echelon Club and appoint an Authorized Representative Staff in accordance to their respective Company’s policy.
     
  3. ​Lost or stolen Echelon Club Membership Card should be reported immediately to your respective Hotel Echelon Club Coordinator. A replacement card will only be provided to the registered Echelon Club Member upon verification of proper identification at the discretion of Federal Hotels International (FHI).
     
  4. An administrative fee of RM20 inclusive of GST will be chargeable upon request for the replacement of each card lost by Echelon Club Member.
     

Membership Renewal

  1. The standard Gold Membership Card will be renewed on an annual basis based on a minimum Room Revenue of RM5,000.00 or Banquet Revenue of RM10,000.00 produced from the date you become a Member until 31 December of the year.
     
  2. Members who produce a minimum Room Revenue of RM20,000.00 or Banquet Revenue of RM50,000.00 within duration of One (1) calendar year will be upgraded to a Platinum Membership Card.
     
  3. Members who produce a minimum Room Revenue of RM60,000.00 or Banquet Revenue of RM150,000.00 within duration of Two (2) consecutive years will be upgraded to a Diamond Membership Card.

    • 30% discount at participating F&B outlets of Federal Hotels International (FHI) Group of Hotels.
    • One complimentary Birthday cake on your birthday when you dine-in and celebrating at any of the FHI Group of Hotels’ participating Restaurants for a minimum of 2 persons.  7-day prior reservation is required.  Valid during the month of your birthday.  
       
  2. Platinum Membership Card
    • 30% discount at participating F&B outlets of Federal Hotels International (FHI) Group of Hotels.
    • One complimentary Birthday cake on your birthday when you dine-in and celebrating at any of the FHI Group of Hotels’ participating Restaurants for a minimum of 2 persons.  7-day prior reservation is required.  Valid during the month of your birthday.  
    • One complimentary Buffet Hi-Tea for 2 persons for you and your spouse/partner on your birthday when you dine-in and celebrating at any of the FHI Group of Hotels’ participating Restaurants.   7-day prior reservation is required.  Valid during the month of your birthday.
    • Enjoy one complimentary room upgrade annually to the next level of room category when staying in any of our participating Federal Hotels International (FHI) Group of Hotels, subject to room availability. 3-day prior reservation is required.

       
  3. Diamond Membership Card
    • 30% discount at participating F&B outlets of Federal Hotels International (FHI) Group of Hotels.
    • One complimentary Birthday cake OR a bottle of House wine/sparkling juice (to be chosen by HOTEL) on your birthday when you dine-in and celebrating at any of the FHI Group of Hotels’ participating Restaurants for a minimum of 2 persons.  7-day prior reservation is required.  Valid during the month of your birthday
    • One complimentary Buffet Dinner for 2 persons for you and your spouse/partner on your birthday when you dine-in at any of the FHI Group of Hotels’ participating Restaurants.  7-day prior reservation is required.  Valid during the month of your birthday.
    • One complimentary Buffet Breakfast for 2 persons for you and your spouse/partner when you stay-in at any of the FHI Group of Hotels in Kuala Lumpur.  3-day prior reservation is required.  Valid during the month of your birthday.
    • Enjoy one complimentary room upgrade annually to the next level of room category when staying in any of our participating Federal Hotels International (FHI) Group of Hotels, subject to room availability. 3-day prior reservation is required.

Membership Awards

  1. Echelon Reward Points will be awarded based on Materialized Room Night and Banquet Booking from the date of approved Echelon Club Membership only. No Echelon Reward Point will be given for any reservations made prior to become a Member. Nett Value is taken into account without Service Charge and Good and Service Tax (GST). Echelon Reward Points can be accumulated from the date of approved Echelon Club Membership and all accumulated Echelon Reward Points @ 31 December of the year must be fully redeemed by 31 March of the following year.
     
  2. ​Federal Hotels International (FHI) reserves the right to delay recording Echelon Reward Points in your account until it has confirmed by our participating Federal Hotels International (FHI) Group of Hotels that they were properly issued or awarded. Federal Hotels International (FHI) reserves the right to cancel recorded Echelon Reward Points if the respective Echelon Club Member did not pay for the Room Night and Banquet Booking.
     
  3. Accumulation of Echelon Reward Points will be valid only after the Date of Member’s Registration. Echelon Club Membership and Echelon Reward Points are transferable..
     
  4. ​Member must always quote their Name and Membership Number when booking the rooms & banquet functions. Please note that if the information given is incomplete and inaccurate, applicable Echelon Reward Points may not credited to your account.
     
  5. ​Echelon Club Members can check their available Echelon Reward Points balance at any time by login to Federal Hotels International (FHI) website under LOYALTY/ECHELON.
     
  6. ​Echelon Club Membership in the program and all related benefits are offered at the sole discretion of Federal Hotels International (FHI). Federal Hotels International (FHI) reserves the right, from time to time, to restrict, suspend or otherwise alter aspects of the program and/or these Terms & Conditions, with or without prior notice to Members, which changes may affect the value of Echelon Rewards Points.

Membership Redemption

  1. ​Echelon Vouchers/Goods may redeemed as soon as you have achieved the minimum Echelon Reward Points or you may continue accumulating until 31 December of the year. Echelon Reward Points accumulated cannot be brought forward to the next Program Year commencing 1 January of the following year. All accumulated Echelon Reward Points @ 31 December of the year must be fully redeemed by 31 March of the following year.
     
  2. ​Echelon Vouchers/Goods redeemed are non-exchangeable and non-refundable. Loss or damage of redeemed Echelon Vouchers/Goods will not be replaced. Validity period of redeemed Echelon Vouchers will not be extended.
     
  3. ​Echelon Reward Points will automatically be deducted based on the category of rewards redeemed.
     
  4. Redemption orders once accepted by Federal Hotels International (FHI) cannot be revoked, cancelled, returned, exchanged and Echelon Reward Points will not be reinstated.
     
  5. ​All Echelon Vouchers/Goods are subject to availability of merchandise and to the participating merchants’ restrictions. Due to changes in the cost of goods and services charged to Federal Hotels International (FHI) by participating merchants and other factors, the number of Echelon Reward Points required for Gifts as set out in the Echelon Club collaterals and Federal Hotels International (FHI) website under LOYALTY/ECHELON are subject to change at any time without prior notice to Members. Federal Hotels International (FHI) further reserves the right to delete or substitute all of the Echelon Club collaterals at any time.
     
  6. Once redeemed, Echelon Vouchers/Goods cannot be revoked, cancelled, returned, exchanged and Echelon Reward Points will not be reinstated. Federal Hotels International (FHI) reserves the right to substitute an alternative replacement of similar value reward without prior notice.
     
  7. Federal Hotels International (FHI) will impose appropriate delivery charges inclusive of postage and courier charges for the following reasons:
    • Delivery of Echelon Vouchers/Goods to the respective Echelon Club Member registered Company address;
    • Re-delivery of Echelon Vouchers/Goods that have been returned due to unclaimed; and
    • Re-delivery of Echelon Vouchers/Goods that have been returned due to incomplete address, P.O Box address, Member has shifted, no such person or for any other failed delivery reasons
       
  8. ​Federal Hotels International (FHI) shall not responsible for any loss/or damage to any Echelon Vouchers/Goods in the course of delivery.
     
  9. Please allow Eight (8) weeks from the date of request to the arrival of Echelon Vouchers/Goods for Members in Malaysia & Singapore.
     
  10. ​All Echelon Vouchers/Goods unclaimed after Two (2) months from the approved date of redemption will be deemed as forfeited. Echelon Reward Points used will not be reinstated. It is the respective Echelon Member’s responsibility to contact the respective Hotel Echelon Club Coordinator at our participating Federal Hotels International (FHI) Group of Hotels if the Echelon Vouchers/Goods have not been received after Two (2) months from the approved date of redemption.
     
  11. Federal Hotels International (FHI) reserves the right to refuse redemption of any Echelon Vouchers/Goods or recall redeemed Echelon Vouchers/Goods if the Federal Hotels International (FHI) has any reason to suspect the Echelon Reward Points were fraudulently accumulated by the respective Echelon Member or wrongly recorded.
